St. Mary’s offers hot lunch on full school days. Students going to after-care on half days will need to bring a cold lunch.
Free Hot Lunch for All St. Mary’s Students
St. Mary’s Catholic School will be offering free hot lunch to all students in response to a waiver released by the USDA to implement the Seamless Summer Option of the National School Lunch Program for the 2021-2022 school year (August 23, 2021 to May 26, 2022). Please note: The free/reduced lunch applications are not required to receive the free lunch meal.
This only applies to student hot lunch orders. If your student has cold lunch but orders a milk there will still be a $0.50 charge. Extra entrees only will be a $1.50 charge. Adult lunches will increase to $3.30 for this year.
Please continue to submit free/reduced lunch applications. This helps St. Mary’s receive Title 1 funding. (free hot lunch letter)
Wellness Committee: St. Mary’s wellness committee will set goals, monitor, and review the policy and guidelines and ensure that we are in compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Regulations pertaining to the Wellness Policy. The committee will meet once a semester and then report back to the Principal for improvements and goals for the year. This committee will consist of the PE Teacher, Food Service Director, and three middle school students.
