Principal
I am a lifelong Wyoming resident and moved to Cheyenne from Gillette in the summer of 2020. I am married to Dan, and we have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. We are parishioners at the Cathedral of St. Mary’s and we are so happy to be a part of the Cheyenne community! I enjoy gardening, camping, and spending time with our grown children.
I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 1994. I stayed home with my children until our youngest began preschool. I then joined the staff of St. John Paul II Catholic School in Gillette and taught there for 12 years until moving to Cheyenne. I joined the St. Mary’s School staff as a fourth grade teacher in the fall of 2019 and took over as interim principal in March 2020.
In August of 2018 I began studies at Creighton University’s Catholic School Leadership program and obtained a Master’s Certificate in Catholic School Leadership in the spring of 2020.I graduated from Creighton’s Educational Leadership program with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership in the Spring of 2022. I am passionate about Catholic education and find it truly rewarding to not only shape students academically, but spiritually and physically as well.
