I am a lifelong Wyoming resident and moved to Cheyenne from Gillette this past summer. I am married to Dan, and we have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. We will be joining the St. Mary’s Cathedral community as parishioners and we are so happy to join the Cheyenne community! I attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with my degree in elementary education in 1994. I stayed home with my children until our youngest began preschool. I then joined the staff of St. John Paul II Catholic School in Gillette and taught there for 11 years until we moved to Cheyenne. I enjoy working with all age groups, but feel my true calling is in the intermediate grades, so I am very pleased to be working with 4th graders here at St. Mary’s! I am currently enrolled in a Catholic School Leadership program through Creighton University and will have my masters certificate in these studies after the spring term next year. I am passionate about Catholic education and find it truly rewarding to not only shape my students academically, but spiritually and physically as well. I have also been certified as a STEM lab facilitator and enjoy utilizing technology in the classroom.
